red burning skin
Hi,
Has anyone experienced red burning (hot) skin that feels like sunburn
and to look at it it looks like a sunburn or an allergic rash ? I have
eczema and this is driving me nuts. It’s spreading all over and I can
not figure out what it is. I’m going to the dr. soon but I wondered
if this is part of the "die off" process for candidia. It itches and
burns and it’s bright red.
Thanks.

I recently aquired some sort of a heat/allergic rash on the inside of my
thighs. My left thigh was a lot worse than my left and was itching like
carzy. Of course scratching made it worse and the bumps became bigger! I
used some Frangerance Free Masade Dead Sea Salt in a hot compress and it
took all the itching away! I couldn’t freaking believe it! This is what I
did:
Put some about 2 cups of hot water in a bowl.
Added about a cup of Sea Salt.
Mixed up very well so it dissolved as much as it could.
Soaked 2 washcloths in the mixture, rang them out and then applied it my
affected area. I let it sit on for 10 minutes and then did the whole thing
over again.
I have sensitive skin so the candida diet die off effects are even worse on
my skin. I’m getting acne, rashes, etc…
I want to take a bath in the sea salts but I have bad water and no filter on
my tub tap.

Thanks so much for this tidbit. I know dead sea salts are wonderful for
eczema !!!
Why don’t you go and buy water at Wal-Mart for your tub ?!?! It’s 50 to 60
cents
a gallon.

I”ve had it all my life. but never these type systoms. However in the past 2yrs
I am expericing the same symtoms quite often. The only thing which immediatly
help is a mild steroid oil call Derma Smooth prescribed by a dermatoligist. I am
trying to use my juice fast technique to see if i can eliminate the problem
internally along with flax, fish borage oil caps, vitamin e caps, and zinc. Im
not sure if it is working. However the oil is a sure thing, and it seems that
every time i run out i start to relapse. I would prefer not to use it and some
how substitue it for a natural rememedy or regimin due to the cost. During my
last visit to the dermatologist she prescribed the oil for the face and scalp,
the steroid cream for the body and hydrocortisone pills for the itching.the
cream was to be used for a week or 2 and discared therafter, and to finish the
pills. Of course the treaments worked but once you run out then you relapse
everytime. I now just have the doctor call in the
prescription for the oil and use it for my entire body, because the cost of
continuous 10 min visits along with the price of the meds are expensive and
somthing I rather not pay for. So I keep it basic and used the oil. I hope to
find somthing natural with the same or similar chemical make up that is less
expensive.

where can i get this vibe?
January 24th, 2007 at 3:28 am
Thanks Cire for that information.
I am feeling MUCH better with the antibiotic that I am on. The skin is no
longer red or burning however the flaky skin is incredible !! It is like
dandruff falling off my skin. I’m not complaining but I wonder once I am off
the antibiotic will it (eczema) come back with a vengeance. I know that the
antibiotic with create more yeast
and then the whole cycle will continue…right ?!?!
I am eating tons of fruits and veggies and taking flax oil. This will help.

I, too, have eczema and this happened to me once, but it was an
allergic reaction to the drug. You need to call your doctor
immediately and see what it is. The doctor told me if I hadn’t called
and stopped the meds and started the benadryl, I probably would have
been in the hospital by the end of the week. As for controlling
eczema, I use Renew lotion and it completely comtrols mine and mine is
so bad that I crack and bleed even in the summer. If you want
information on how to get it, send me a PM and I’ll give it to you.

This is just a thought, but I have had terrible yeast problems in my life and
the one thing the medical doctor as well as the naturopath told me is to
avoid fruit because the natural sugars add to the problems that the yeast grows
in. It’s helped me. Just fyi.
And good luck. I hope you feel better soon.
Blessings,
Maitri

I just got back form a derm. appt. and I now have been told I have psoraisis
as well as eczema. Although it is not "white plaques" it is tight, thick and
scaly. I am trying several new therapies (some steroidal, some not). One I
have been told is slathering my legs with vaseline and wrapping them in saran
wrap !!!
