Hello from a new member…. Psoriasis… Mother of the Bride!
Hello All,
I was really pleased to find this group and I look forward to whatever
suggestions you might be able to give me.
I am 52 and my eldest daughter will be married in just under 4 weeks. I have
been trying to heal this psoriasis for over 2 months now. I had never had it
before except a tiny bit in my scalp 5 years ago that healed up pretty quickly
and all of a sudden it came on all over the backs of my hands. It looks some
better than it did in the beginning now but I have terrible bouts of just about
going near crazy and scratching it like mad which I KNOW is awful, and I’m
keeping them clean and have used all manner of things over the counter and now
herbal which seems to help but it won’t go away.
I am horrified to think I will be mother of the bride with this all over the
backs of my hands and I’ve GOT to find something to stop this itching so I
don’t keep aggravating it. I try so hard not to and will go hours just putting
the tea tree lotion and the herbal salve which seem to have made it some better
but then I will let go and scratch like crazy. HELP! I don’t want to go to my
daughter’s wedding like this.
