Monday, March 26th, 2007

I have severe eczema on my hands for the past three years. I started taking
evening primrose oil for almost a year now then I started to take forgot the
name - they are an australian based company - is it superfood. Anyway, it isnt
as bad anymore but I think it takes time to heal. patience and time is a
factor here.

I have had roscia for a number of years on my nose, and tried just
about everything to get rid of it , nothing seems to work. the doc has

Hi I Am new what happened

Monday, March 26th, 2007

I see the posts quickly fell away? and none this month? I Am looking for a site
to help my daughters and I. I have a 4.5 and a 22m old. my 22m old is a preemie
and has bad eczema. on her knees and elbows. it looks really painful, I have
been helping it with coconut oil, but you know moms and wanting quick fixes. I
try and be as natural as I can, we don’t allow sugary junk in the house. once in
a GREAT while they get lollipops, but I typically don’t allow them or anything
of the sort. we just got a juicer and are loving the fresh apple juice. and
Hubby and I like the carrot, apple, ginger… :) Anyway my 4 year old has a bruise like discoloring right by her vagina and it
smells awful. she has been itchy there since she could itchj there. I put
coconut oil on that as well and just got something that is good for bruising
from the herbal store in town, but that stinks too. SHe starts preschool on
TRuesday and don’t want her to smell. any ideas whatto try? they haven’t tested
for a UTI and now won’t. I don’t know what the problem is, she says it only
hurts to pee when it hits the raw spots? Me on the other hand I have vasculitus,

Eczema/Psoriasis and Emotional Triggers

Sunday, March 25th, 2007

Due to research in other arenas in my life, I was thinking about
eczema and psoriasis this morning. I’ve read that several people who
have cleaned up their diets and such are still struggling with the
condition. I started wondering about emotional conditions. If stress
and high emotion can cause heart palpitations, ulcers, upset stomachs
and the like, why not a skin condition or flare up?

Further on down that path, I started thinking about all the people in
the world with all of their various ‘coping’ methods whether good or
ill… And that lead me to a very specific coping mechanism:
self-mutilation, self-harm, cutting, burning…. whatever you would
like to call it.

Some research shows that ‘cutters’ (their term not mine) are
predominantly young women, and that typically sometime after the

Melissa

Silica, helichrysum etc. etc…. also… Genteal & Systane

Friday, March 23rd, 2007

Hi, I don’t often get to this group, but thought I’d share my
experience:

I have experimented with many many many things for dry rough skin
(see a previous post of mine for the HUGE list of stuff I’ve tried.

I’ve also tried various Masada stuff such as Masada Spa Salt Scrub
for sensitive skin, Masada PsoriaLeve… also… an expensive Derma-E
Microdermabrasion scrub & microdermabrasion cloth. Also DMSO.)

When all is said & done, after wasting all that money, I devised some
homemade solutions which seem to be better than anything else:

(1) Preliminary priming of skin: Immerse ramie mitt into a quite
strong solution of H2O2 (tsp. food-grade hydrogen peroxide mixed into

best bed cover for dust mite protection

Friday, March 23rd, 2007

Hi all!

I’m very very very allergic to dust mites…who isn’t?!?! Well I’m
doing some research before I go out and buy a bed/pillow cover. I’d
like to go with something durable and that will last at least 6months
to a year. I’ve been doing research, but I think personal expereince
is the best info.

Suggestions?
Best!

I just came across this

Wednesday, March 21st, 2007

Hi this is Nat,

Has anyone used these products before ‘Herose’www.herosepharma.com
From what I understand it’s made from natural herbs contains none of
the bad stuff…. steroids etc. For people who haven’t used steroids
and the like can get results within 3 months with 97% success rate,
while people who have received steroid etc treatment take longer up to
a year and have a 87% success rate.
You cannot drink alcohol while taking the pills and they reccomend a
healthy diet. However they are not cheap, it costs about US$100.00 a
week. Although it could be cheap for people who have been in and out
of hospitals etc.
Please post comments or experiences about these products.

Regards,
