Carrot juice makes me itch like crazy because of the high sugar content. A couple of specialists on eczema told me to avoid eating carrots for this reason, however I do eat a small amount mixed with other vegetables every other day because they are so highly nutritious. You cannot drink alcohol while taking the pills and they reccomend a healthy diet. However they are not cheap, it costs about US$100.00 a week.
