skin thrush

Thursday, March 8th, 2007

can anybody offer some natural remedy? i have eczema on my hands and at the
moment it is particularly bad on one. and i think i may have thrush on it as
well now. it has that look like babies get on their bottoms after a prolonged
nappy rash. i think it is because i have been keeping my hands in gloves all day
which usually gets rid of the rash. i don’t want to go to the doctor because
they will just hassle me to use steroid creams on my hands again.
i am at the moment in permanent pain and it is burning like crazy.

and before anyone mentions it i don’t eat bread or yeast products and i do eat
natural yogurt. and i have never had this before

ECZEMA ON THE HANDS, ARMS, LEGS, BACK AND FEET WITH DISCOLORATION

Wednesday, March 7th, 2007

I had the same thing you have now, over 80% of my body, and have found
that it requires constant maintenance. You need to take care of your
skin and take care of the inside; one with out the other doesn’t work
for me. My sucess has been with eliminating processed foods and
anything that feeds yeast. I’ve also found that eliminating gluten &
dairy have helped immensly. My diet consists of lots of fruit & veggies
and I am learning how to eat gluten & dairy free. I also take Flax oil
pills (didn’t notice any difference until after taking it for about 3
months) and probiotics. Helping my digestive system has really helped
my skin and other allergies as well.

What works for my skin is scrubbing each morning in the shower with a
loofah. If I’m really itchy I use a medicated apricot scrub. I’ve
switched to castile soap, this works good for me. Then twice a day I
use Seabreeze all over and then Aveeno moisturizer. The medicated

Cucumber and psoriasis

Sunday, March 4th, 2007

Does cucumber aggrivate psoriasis?

Does anyone have any nutritional information about cucumber? Where I’m
living there isn’t a lot of choice of vegetables to juice, and I have
been told that cucumber isn’t good for psoriasis. Has any reduced or
eliminated their psoriasis condition while eating cucumber in their diet.

Thanks

Liver Flush Survey

Sunday, March 4th, 2007

During the last few days, new questions were added to the survey.
Because of that, survey is now waiting for you to complete all
questions.

There are about 30 -50 curezone members who entered survey from this
forum.
Since then, few new questions were added and that means that there
are many incomplete answers, many of them just missing answer to a
single question or to 2 -3 questions.

Thank you. So far, there are 65 people (39%) who answered all
questions.
I am hoping there will be a larger number answering all questions.

Interesting LF Results:

Psoriasis 1 = 7 days fasting starting today

Saturday, March 3rd, 2007

I am facing problems keeping contract jobs. P maintainence takes up
lot of time daily. the time with family and office hours suffers.
also I am feeling v down from many many days now. 3-4 years.

starting a 7 days fast today to find out if diet has anything to do
with P at all or not. to fight the situation and to make some change.

This is my plan
1.) fast for 3 days at first and try to stretch it to 7. I am using
the word stretch because I find it difficult to fast more than 1-2
days. No fruits also. even observe thirst. drink only when thirsty.
2.) meditate and do yoga in the evening immedietly after reaching
home from office.
3.) Drink Cayce’s elm and saffron tea in office - herbal teas
4.) take blood purifying herbal supplements - ayurvedic medicines

Benedryl stops my night itching

Friday, March 2nd, 2007

I have had a very rough time with eczema for the last six months, so
I’ve been trying many new things. I’m taking my vitamins and oils;
I’ve started eating coconut oil and sometimes use it on my skin; I’m
eating tumeric that I buy in bulk and pack into gelcaps, and I’m
eating acidopholus and bifidopholus. Does any of this help me? I
honestly do not know, but I will continue all the above for a few more
months to see. WHAT DOES WORK, DRAMATICALLY, TO STOP MY NIGHT
ITCHING IS BENEDRYL! If you itch in bed, you must try this. My skin
is so much better because I was able to break the chain of itch-
scratch-damage. Benedryl does make you drowsy, so I don’t take it
during the day. Claritin (Loratidine) is better for that.

Here’s a question for all: the skin on my wrists is thin due to years
of self treating with steroid creams like hydrocortisone. I read
somewhere that creams with ester C will thicken or reverse that damage.

Diet and Probiotics

Friday, March 2nd, 2007

Basically just avoid wheat, dairy and sugar. You still can have a little
here and there. I have posted several times already that I use In-Liven as my
probiotic. This is what seems to be working for me but it doesn’t mean it will
work for you. I believe my eczema is caused by candida. Make sure if you buy
probiotics that it is a good and high quality!!! Juicing veggies is another
thing that I do - I juice celery, kale, wheatgrass and cilatro. Do not think
that doing this is expensive. This is a benefit to your health and not buying
junk food helps you save money so in the long run you aren’t wasting your
money. Plus you lose weight the healthy way abd you are eating your way to good
health!!!!

An amazing old-timey remedy I was just put onto! MILK!

Thursday, March 1st, 2007

Well, this is rather amazing and I wouldn’t have believed it myself had I not
tried everything on the market and gotten so despondent I thought my hands
and forearms would NEVER clear up.

A friend of mine works for a doctor. He kind of chuckled one day and said he
would never have believed it but an older woman who worked for him told him
her grandmother had terrible psoriasis but cured it and then kept it at bay with
MILK. Regular milk. Not canned, not soy, milk like you buy at the store (I
buy gallons of 1%). The last 2 days I have kept a big bowl of milk in the
fridge. I wash my hand and arms so they are clean and about 3x a day douse them
with milk. YOU MUST let the milk dry on your skin. Don’t wipe it off. I just
pick up a towl and rather blot my palms so I can touch things without dripping
but it dries quickly.

I know it’s in that old wives tales genre, but I swear to you on all I hold
