My boyfriend has eczema… help me
Hello:
I’m 23 years old and I had my 1st break out 6 months ago. I got the news that
I had eczema when I finally when to the dermatologist 3 months ago. (I thought
I just severe allergies because of my excessive out door activities). I can tell
you that is very hard to deal with this and still have the Patience to deal with
a 2 year old and a husband that did not really understood my condition, I guess
now he see how I get when I have a break out and tries to help me by taking the
baby and giving me a few minutes to my self. I understand that the scratching
drives u nuts but believe me he has it worse and this is a real tester for your
relationship. I feel bad that my husband has to deal with a wife that is the
complete apposite to what he married. I know that is hard for him but like the
priest said "IN HEALTH AND IN SICKNESS".
When it comes to advising you, is probably what you old ready know. Taking
short baths, cetaphil soap and Vaseline when you come out of the shower and try
to keep the apt cool. The only thing that that I do is that I take evening
prime rose vitamins 500mg 6a day ,I have notice some difference in my skin. (
I’ve been taking them for 1 month)
I do have a question: Have you heard of an injection called keno log? It was
highly recommended to me by a close relative that also had eczema and has been
out break free for a year and a half.

I am 29 and in the same boat! My son will be 2 in January and I feel your pain!
Please do not take Kenalog- it is a steroid I believe and these (and
antibiotics) have ruined my immune sysytem and health. They might temporarily
give you relieve, but suppressing your system is not worth it! I now have Leaky
Gut Syndrome and am literally allergic to every food now-its a living hell!
Would also be careful with Vaseline- petroleum products aren’t good for everyone
and don’t allow the skin to breathe.

Hi Shelly,
I have the same problem, for a year now. Unfortunately when i eat something that
doesn’t agree with me, particulary sugar, i get rash on my face, it comes up
bright red & hot. When it’s really bad & my bowels are not functioning properly,
i start getting rash on my stomach, back, elbows & behind my neck…it’s aweful!
So what do u do then? any alternate measures? diet?? any advice.
