Went to naturopath: Need your thoughts!

I had a good feeling about going to the naturopath yesterday; however,
today I feel a little unsure.

At the visit, he told me that my eczema was caused by a rampant yeast
population living in my body since brth (as I’ve had eczema since
birth). He said I have to be very dedicated to get rid of the yeast,
changing my diet. I will also have to spend about 400 dollars in
supplements (he sells supplements).

Before I saw him yesterday, I had bought a bunch of vitamins. Today I
called him, thinking I would read the labels and he would tell me if I
should return them. He told me to hold them to my belly and then told
me if they were good or not over the phone (note: this is how he
determined if the meds and vitamins I already take were good/bad for
me IN THE OFFICE. I could see that working in the office e(maybe he

could sense energy) but over the phone?

what do you think?

I’m feeling a little sad, as I was hoping he could help me, but this
over the phone evaluation method just doesn’t seem to make sense.

Thanks for reading!

Who is this guy? I went to a similar guy in NYC called Dr. Dattner. As for
this kind of method (what was it called again?), if it looks like BS, sounds
like Bs, etc. go with your gut in this one. I think we’d all like to have some
faith in things like this, but "energy" over the phone?

I would never trust it. As soon as I realized this was the guy’s whole method,
    I never saw him again.
