Remission with abstaining from alcohol?
Hi everyone,
I’m a new member and have drank heavily for about 35 years.
I have developed psoriasis / eczema on my hands in the last few years.
My research suggests that excessive alcohol consumption is associated
with psoriasis.
Has anyone experienced remission of psoriasis or eczema by quitting
drinking?
Has anyone quite drinking and not expereinced remission?

Hi TRC - i keep reading in the natural healing books that it’s a result of a
overloaded liver.. a toxic body… so i am working on cleansing my body to see
if it helps.. I have never been a big drinker but have eaten my share of junk
foods (toxins)
I have discovered through trial and error and process of elimation that popcorn,
cornflakes, cornchips and too much corn syprup make my palms break out within 12
hours of consumption… i am working on staying away from corn products also…
I amalso reading the book Healing Psoriasis the natural alternative by dr john
O.A. Pagano .. i picked up a copy used on amazon.com

I quit drinking and it helped dramatically.
