Where can you get ‘American Yellow Saffron’?
I haven’t got Pagano’s book yet, but I was told that this is one of the
main items in the Cayce/Pagano approach to healing skin disorders. But
it’s very hard to find this on the web. Does anyone know where to get
it?

I got Pagano’s book from the Bodhi Tree. I also had trouble finding the
American Yellow Saffron, but in Pagano’s book he has alternative teas that
can be used if the saffron can not be obtained. I’m currently using the
slippery elm in the AMs, and chamomile in the PMs. I tried this a while
back without noticeable results, but have gone back to it again. This time
I have taken a liking to the chamomile tea and have started taking 3 to 4
cups at night, and this time around, I am seeing results. I’m wondering if
the first time around I was not taking enough chamomile tea, or perhaps my
body is farther along in its healing and able to respond better.
Aside from changing my foods, which is essential for us, I have found that
not overheating at night helps me a lot in terms of reducing itch. Get nice
and warm under the covers, but allow the room to be cool. This morning my
husband said my face looked as smooth as a baby’s! LOL I am so much more
comfortable.
I have found that we all seem to react differently to foods. Some things
people say they eat, I can not, and vice versa. Thus trying the rotational
diet is helpful. Personally, I have found Pagano’s recommendation of
avoiding spicy foods, nightshades, and easy on the sweets to be helpful for
me. As you know, if you’ve been dealing with this for a long time, it gets
complicated and very tailored to each individual. The topical
recommendations from Pagano was not relief for me, but Burt’s Bees Coconut
foot cream was! Ha! Thanks for a member here who recommended it! So yes,
watch what you’re putting on your skin since I had so much grief with the
different products–red, inflamed, itch, tight, etc., etc., etc., If you
are getting those symptoms while using the topical I would stop and try
something else more mild and less pore-clogging. Another topical that
helped to soothe the skin for me was rubbing calendula tea topically with a
cotton ball. Cheap and easy.
Well this can go on, so better leave it here. Good luck to you all. I’m
finally seeing "good" progress and am very encouraged it can be overcome no
matter how many people tell me it’s genetic or autoimmune. None of my 3
kids have it, nor my mother or father. Just me. . .
Anyway, did I say I was gonna leave it here? Ha!
Toodles,
Marla
