For two years now I have had dry itchy flaking patches of skin on my
body. When I scratch the dry skin off the skin underneath is pink or
red. My son started off with it on his elbow. After he got rid of it
I got it. It started off on my elbows then my knees and on the sides
of my calves. It had gotten so bad that for two years now I have not
worn shorts. I believe with all my heart that it is not Psoriasis.
Psoriasis is not contagious! The doctor who looked me over and
examined my skin ended up getting it too! She ended up using
medication right away to stop the spread. So after going to many
dermatologists they say it is dermatitis. After trying many drugs to
cure this, I have finally found something to get rid of most of
patches. All of the patches on my calves have gone away. I still have
to apply meds on my elbows and one knee but it is slowly going away too.
