Candida causing eczema

I am 34 years old and I have had Eczema as far back as I can
remember. It started to really become noticable when I was 15. In
the last couple years it is to the point where I am on prednisone
DAILY because of it.

A couple years ago while reading a homepathic book I took a test to
see if I had Candida signs.. According to tis test if you score
above a 68 it is likely I scored an 88.

I went to several Doctors to find out what I can do. Not one has
been able to tell me anything. I have had a colonoscopy with
biopsies to see if there was any present in my colon. I went to a
urologist and he looked at me like I was loosing it and told me I
need to go to a dermatologist.

For the last year though I have noticed something strange. If my
eczema is flaring up, my urine wil smell very acidic like an onion
or pineapple juice. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

What have others done to get rid of or find out if they have candida?

There are holistic doctors and naturopaths who can test this. I just spoke with
an MD ( a derm at a major university medical center) who also believes my
inverse psoriasis is caused by Candida. She recommends taking Diflucan.
From my own readings I know Candida is a b*tch to get rid of; because it
feeds on sugar; so that means no sugar for awhile - not even fruit; but well; I
guess that is a small price to pay for excellent health. Some people don’t get
to eat at all - is the way I look at it. Anyways; I am still corresponding with
this doctor I will write more as I learn more; if you’d like, I have a friend
who had psoriasis over 90% of her body but is now comepletely clear, she is the
one who gave me the info.

My son has had an inflamation and scabby, dry looking patches behind
his ears forever, he’s 14 now, where can I find a test to see if he
    has candida or something else?

Probiotics - find a good one that works for you - I use In-Liven. For now
that is all I use my eczema is still not 100% gone but the weeping has
improved 95% - i used to scratch my palms and liquid oozed out - really like
    water
but now it doesn’t - it will kill the candida but do not expect a miracle - it
will heal for a long period of time - i have used in-liven since last June
and it onlyhas gotten better not worse - altho when your diet is poor it gets
worse - when i am strict with my diet it does improve - u just to learn to
cope - if u eat something nasty then your skin pays for it - i also use jergens
skin smooth lotion - i know it is not organic but it takes away a lot of the
dead skin but sun exposure is not recommended - with this lotion my hands
have also improved and so did the rest of my body - cheer up with patience it
    will heal

    Hi Jennifer,

Can you tell us more about your friend who had the psoriasis on 90 percent of
her body, what did she do to clear herself?

    Thanks,
