A RESPONSE TO: What they donÂ’t wish you to know about Psoriasis

While this angle is interesting and quite an eye-opener it represents an "all or
none" phenomena which is dangerous. Given the autoimmune nature of psoriasis it
is only common sense to do things to increase the strenght of ones’ immune
system. Therefore, I believe the strongest solution is to mix diet with
supplements. For example, I take ProvexPlus, a strong bioflavinoid with the
majority component grapeseed/skin that has not gone any fermintation. This has
done wonders for all of my autoimmune conditions. In addition, I do eat pure
foods - non-processed foods. However, I must stress the need for nutritional
suppliments to strengthen the immune system.

What was not addressed, and is equally as important, is lessening the load on
the immune system. Nutritionally that means avoiding processed foods that are
laiden with chemical preservatives and additives. Care must be taken not to put
toxic household chemicals on your skin - our largest organ. Particularly laundry
products!! Again, I use Melapower which is free of toxic chemicals. The

difference is tremendous.

Lastly, don’t forget to nourish our skin - regulary. I use lotion that
penetrates the epidermis to the dermis where healing and nourishment take place
from the inside to the outside.

The key is to strengthen our immune system while lessening the loads!

we could really go nuts trying to figure all of this out; couldn’t we? I mean
even within the holisitic realm there is so much conflicting and contrasting
    info…

I have cleared on two occasions. One with a raw foods detox (all raw foods, 4
oz of wheatgrass juice a day, no sugar of any sort (even fruit or agave or
stevia) and internal cleansing of the water sort (if you know what I mean ), no
nuts, only sprouted raw live grains, 64 oz of water a day and rejuvalec. Boring
and strict as hell; but it worked; the stuff I cleared never returned. But I
also cleared on pagano and meat and supplements on another occasion. I have
alittle bit left so I am going to give round 3 a go round.

I think the thing is to treat the root cause and they may be very different
for different people also depending on what type of p you have. I hear inverse
is caused by candida, which is what I have and explains why I cleared on a no

sugar diet which was high in probiotics. Mind you ; I had a food source of
probiotics. A lot of traditional probiotics are made from dairy which is a big
no-no for p; according to a very knowledgeable and open minded derm I talk to
from UCLA. it creates inflammation in the small intestine. (anyways, cows do not
drink our milk; why are we drinking theirs? Notice we are the only mammals to do
this. 85% of children’s ear infections are caused by dairy. Colic is also
related to dairy allergy. If your child gets these try taking them off dairy and
see what happens. Also asthma is worsened by dairy and who knows what else. It
    is very mucuos forming!)

I agree that the pharm and even supplementation industries don’t want you to
know about the raw foods phenomenon. Nor do the milk farmers want the secret out
about how it DOESN’T do a body good. There is three times as much assimilable
calcium in a cup of spinach as their is a cup of milk but spinach doesn’t create
mucous and inflammation. ( Our environemnt would certainly be cleaner, because
we’d have less manure run-off into streams, and they could feed the whole world
with the grain we’d save!) They would lose a lot of $$$!!!!

What I’d like to see is the demand for organic produce go up and the prices go
down. Our world and bodies would clean up a lot without the use of pesticides.

I’d also liek to see Hybrid cars be mandatory! We have the techonology; why is
more not beign done to clean up our environment? It’s not just our children who
are goign to suffer…it’s us! Remember…p is of gentic tendencies but must be
brought on by environmental factors. Not all who carry the gene have physical
symptoms. SOOOO many disease linked to carcinogens…cancer, for instance.

WHat is more important than our health….our cars? you can always buy a new
    car…but a new body…well, good luck!

I am glad to see that we agree that psoriasis is a autoimmune system
malfunction (this has been hidden for too long). This is were the
mystery of psoriasis should be taken seriously " why has your immune
system failed" for one I myself doubt whether l ever meet any
sufferer whom won’t prove to be a celiac (intolerant to gluten). But
there can be many other reasons why the immune system isn’t coping,
It is common for HCV (hepatitis C Virus) sufferers to end up having
Psoriasis. Hence the importance of knowing,
Why the immune system isn’t coping should be taken far more
    seriously.
There is really no mystery as to the formations of psoriasis itself
and hasn’t been since 2002. What a lot of people don’t understand is
the nature of acrylamide, which is to bind (That is why it is used in
so many industrial applications). As explained prior in last post
acrylamide-calcium protease. Process foods should be avoided not only

because of what you write chemicals, additives, etc. Yes the
additives are the main culprits of psoriasis ie Food acid, citric
acid, ascorbate acid which are in over 90% of foods.
I do address the lessening of loads on liver by one removing the
processed foods, exercise which is often missed, use natural products
for washing etc, most important one of nature most precious gift
water. Questioning many psoriasis sufferers their intake of water is
dismal some believe it not all intake of liquids coffee etc.
Organic Foods l also say are best,l think you will find that we do
agree on a lot of issues.
So if you do go to "Psoriasis Is Avoidable" MSN group site you will
see that is what l do advocate.
